Equipping and Empowering Women
in the 10/40 window and beyond

mothers day

WIW is excited to introduce FACES OF THE FUTURE!  This Mother’s Day offering extends the love, truth, and power of Christ to the Next Generation!

Through Faces of the Future, WIW is thrilled to share how God is at work with multiple ministry partners to extend our mission to the next generation of young women in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East!

With a goal of $25,000, the funds raised through Faces of the Future will empower underprivileged girls in Africa, rescued teens in Asia, and emerging leaders in the Middle East to receive the help they need, and to replace poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ!

  • Across the world over 60 million girl babies are ‘missing’ – killed for being a girl.
  • In just one Muslim nation in the Middle East, over 1,000 women a year are murdered in the name of ‘honor’ - killed for being a girl.
  • In South Asia, acid attacks on women because of dowry disputes are frequent, often leading to blindness, disfigurement, and death - injured for life for being a girl.
  • Nearly 25 percent of all girls in developing countries have not completed primary school - left behind in education because they are a girl.
  • Out of the 774 million people in the world who are illiterate, two-thirds of them are women - banished to a life of poverty simply because they are a girl!

Faces of the Future will target offerings to help change these statistics as we equip women leaders to provide Life-giving and Life-changing trainings to women and teenage girls.

Together with our ministry partners and their locally-led trainings we will route the evil behind these forces and save the beautiful faces of the future!

So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth. Job 5:16

Here are just a few of the Face of the Future Projects we hope to launch with your generous support:

The Talitha Koumi ministry (Talitha Koumi means, “little girl, arise!”) is actively reaching people groups throughout the nation of Bangladesh which is 89% Muslim and less than 1% Christian. Through our partnership with Women in the Window, women leaders and teenage girls will be empowered to lead.

Amevivina Care Young Women’s Academy has received the benefits of Ghanaian government accreditation for its vocational training program. As a result, they will continue to disciple young women into the faith while they empower them to be strong in the faith and productive in their own community, leaders of the future!

WiW serves Middle Eastern and North African women leaders who rescue girls from forced early marriage and offer hope to the lives of traumatized young women freed from ISIS. The impact of our Soul Care leadership training in this region is changing the focus of today, and yes, the faces of the future!

Every dollar matters & every giver will receive a WIW Mother’s Day Card in any one of 3 designs and sent to the “Mom” of your choice. Of course, we can send it to you so that you can personally send this greeting.

DISCOVER THE ESSENTIALS FOR A MEANINGFUL LIFE AND AN ETERNAL LEGACY

Essentials Bible study is based on the narratives, or stories, about women in the Bible. And there is no shortage—there are more than 100 stories of women included in God’s Word.
Essentials is also an inductive Bible study. What exactly does that mean? It means that we will examine precisely what the Word of God says in its original context through the “windows” of Preparation, Observation, Interpretation, Application, and Reflection. And as we learn how to study these stories inductively, we find the answers we are looking for and the purpose we are longing for.

Buy One Give One! When you purchase your copy of Essentials, we will give a copy to a woman in the 10/40 window or US-based Afghan refugee in their native language. Contact our office for your purchase to count towards this special promotion: 561-249-5377

Wall of Fire and Widows

Wall of Fire and Widows

By Kim Kerr | June 21, 2023

“And I will be to her a wall of fire 🔥 all around, declares the LORD, and I will be the glory in her midst.” Zechariah 2:5 STIGMATIZION SUFFERING STRESS These 3 words summarize what the women in the 10 40 Window often experience. Imagine how this feels. How it weighs on your soul to be regarded as someone who is worthy of disgrace or at the very least, disapproval. Then reimagine a time to gather with other like-minded Christians to regain perspective in just how much you are loved. In fact, you are God’s beloved. Rather than reacting under stress, you … Read more

Women in the Window International – Monthly Ministry updates – Celebrating the Joy of the Lord

By Melanie G Adcock | February 16, 2023

I hope this email finds your heart overflowing and celebrating His joy. The joy of knowing you belong to Him, and you are part of His family. The joy of knowing Him and making Him known—far and wide. But, in this world wracked by suffering, with the incredibly devastating earthquake aftermath overseas, cruelly oppressive regimes on every continent—WiW is not tone-deaf—we are painfully aware of the erosion of Christian values here in the west and the depth of sorrow in so many lives across the globe. Nevertheless, we choose to follow the example of the Old Testament prophet Habakkuk, who … Read more

When Is It Okay To Boast?

By Melanie G Adcock | January 20, 2023

It’s no secret that no one enjoys being around a braggard. Boasting about ourselves is a sure way to lose friends and ruin our own reputation. But, what about boasting about others instead of ourselves? Now that’s a different topic altogether. Boasting on others is encouragement that changes the atmosphere. As we begin a new year of service together, we at Women in the Window International want to boast on the women we serve with in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, our ministry partners. They accomplish amazing work and go WAY BEYOND the limits of what we could ever … Read more
