Dear <<First Name>>,

African entrepreneurs. Syrian survivors. Lakota leaders. Middle Eastern miracles. Astute Asians.

What do these diverse demographic groups have in common? They are all recipients of your generous giving AND faithful prayers in 2018! God’s Word is quite clear—heartfelt, persistent prayer IS effective. In fact, the Amplified Bible says: The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much (when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power)” James 5:16b. And while Women in the Window International focuses our efforts on women, it has become increasingly clear that these women impact their families, communities and nations. We trained over 1,100 women in 2018 and the following statistics since we began in 2013:

And as we turn the corner into 2019, we need your heartfelt and persistent prayers more than ever. Here are some specific prayer needs and joyful praise reports, too:

1. Praise God with us for our growing servant leader and volunteer team! Women from several cities across the USA are joining our ranks as welcome participants in His service.

2. Praise Him for more and more invitations to serve with women in Africa, Asia, America and the Middle East this year. We are especially grateful for 4 (possibly 5) trainings that include women who are displaced from their own nation due to war and/or persecution.

3. Pray with us for the upcoming trainings in Europe, Native America, Asia and Africa:

  • Trauma Healing training with North African women leaders in Europe, February 12 to 19. Pray for Mary, Mary and Kathy as they lead this four-day intensive training with their focus on a biblical woman who experiences personal and secondary trauma.
  • Leadership development on the Cheyenne River Reservation taught by Katheryn, Marilyn and Amgad. Pray for this little cadre of women to expand their territory as they infiltrate their own tribe by developing their own plan of reaching and teaching Native American women the Good News.
  • Asian women are indeed astute, both in business and ministry matters. Our Atlanta-based WiW team will bring health training to two different groups of Asian women leaders. Many of the women they lead struggle with preventable diseases and serious forms of oppression. Pray for Sarah, Stephanie and Julia as they train women with reproducible skills in preventative health care and spiritual growth and development.
  • The Horn of Africa is no stranger to war and war refugees. Our WiW team will travel here in late April to lead women who are currently in refugee crisis to develop their own critical pathway of Advocacy on behalf of themselves and those they love. Pray for this developing Women in the Window staff and volunteer team.

4. Pray for our new staff members, Julie Jenkins, Operations Manager, and Kathy Caprio, Connections Coordinator. If you’d like to connect with them to encourage them, or inquire about how you can be a part of this growing ministry, please contact us through our website (www.womeninthewindow-intl.org) or Facebook page.

5. Last but NOT least, please mark your calendars for our upcoming Celebrate the Wonder Spring Luncheon! Learn more, and purchase your ticket or table here. We are delighted to announce that our speaker from the Middle East will bring amazing stories of women who overcome some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable. His wonder in their lives is definitely worth celebrating

Thank you, and may God richly bless you as you give, serve and especially as you PRAY with and for us!!

Yours because I’m His,

P.S. Speaking of prayer, while you are on our website, please take just a moment to post a prayer request. We stop to pray throughout each day, and would love to include you and your requests.
