Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us” Ephesians 3:20
Are you concerned about the oppression of women and girls in our world today? Does the latest horrific and oppressive attack in the Middle East disturb you? If so, join us next Friday, October 7th to hear more about how WiW is at work in the Middle East | North Africa region and be part of the change that comes only through fervent and effective prayer – James 5:16.
Our speaker will describe the lives of women who experience some of the most difficult circumstances imaginable as she tells her story. She has worked with Women in the Window International (WiW) for many years, serving among women in nations throughout the Middle East and North Africa. WiW equips her and other women from her underground church in Bible study, health, micro-business, leadership, and trauma healing—much needed in their context. Christian gatherings are forbidden, and Christians are persecuted.
We will gather at 11:30 a.m. for a brief Bible study on one of the 7 churches in the book of Revelation. This month we’ll take a look at the church in Sardis, Revelation 3:1-6, as we reflect on the similarities and differences in modern-day Bangladesh. Then, at noon, we’ll hear from our speaker, followed by a few minutes to pray across the globe with insights she provides.
Won’t you join us? You are most welcome to join us at the WiW office in the Palm Beaches at 2101 Vista Parkway, WPB, FL. 33411.If that’s not possible, join us from anywhere across the globe through this zoom link: First Friday Prayer Zoom
Let’s take God at His Word and be part of the change that we all long to see!
Trusting the One who never forgets,
Kim
