Creativity in the Courtyard

Creativity in the Courtyard

“In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.” Colossians 1:6 NIV

WANT TO know more about how, why, and what Women in the Window International does to equip and empower women in the 10/40 window to replace poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ? If so, mark your calendars for our Creativity in the Courtyard event on Saturday, February 26th on the beautiful grounds of First Presbyterian Church, North Palm Beach to experience firsthand some of the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes from the nations we serve.

We are delighted to showcase the Palm Beach Atlantic University Dance Ensemble, led by Professors Jinyoung Hanley and Stella Almblade, as they perform in the Courtyard and in the sanctuary. This exquisite dance team will interpret the stories of women in Africa, Asia and the Middle East with worship-inspired movements that tell their stories with beauty and intrigue.

Dr. Terriel Byrd, Professor of Urban Justice and chair of the Intercultural Engagement Council of Palm Beach Atlantic University will provide incredible insight on the power of reaching across cultures and generations. Our director, Kim Kerr, will bring firsthand reports from across the globe.

Creative Generosity Testimony

Muna and her husband had failed in business and were struggling financially. She attended a Women in the Window training on Leadership with the hopes to learn how to lead in her community, church, and business. In an unexpected twist, Muna’s fervent prayers for her own bleak finances led her to bless and give to widows in an extraordinary way. Despite not having much money herself, she raised enough to build homes for many widows in her community. God multiplied Muna’s “widow’s mite” amount of resources, while her creative generosity and leadership rallied others in their community to transform hearts and lives in Nepal…even her own.  God is mightily at work through women like Muna, who are applying what they learn at Women in the Window trainings. You can be part of this Creativity that Leads to Generosity by donating today.

Thank you so very much for your support and prayers for this ministry and to each one of us at Women in the Window International. NONE of this happens without YOU!

Yours Because I’m His,

Kim
