Determination in the  midst of desperation

Akachi and Nukato—Determination in the Midst of Desperation.

What do you see when you look in the eyes of Akachi holding the water pot up to the mouth of her thirsty sister, Nukato? She may not have everything she wants, but she offers what she has to help. This is a glimpse of determination in the midst of desperation that we often observe among the women and girls we serve. And it’s exactly why we are passionate about doing everything we possibly can to replace their poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ. Thank you for helping us make that happen. None of this happens without YOU!

Thank you for your very generous offerings to Women in the Window in 2019. Because of YOU, we are able to launch into this new year and decade stronger and better prepared than ever before. Please join us in prayer for our January micro-enterprise training with widows in Sub-Saharan Africa and Trauma Healing Training with Muslim background women from North Africa. Like this precious little girl, we will initiate change and offer hope with a dogged determination!

Joyfully Serving Christ with you,

“The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.  I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.” Isaiah 41:17-18
