Last fall, a team from Women in the Window International had the privilege of traveling to Egypt to equip 20 women leaders from various ministries and churches in Women’s Cycle of Life Health training. This first-ever training in Egypt brought a new dimension to the ministries of these women leaders. One attendee said, “If I can reach the younger women, I can change a generation.”
We are blessed that AWEMA, one of our ministry partners in Egypt, has invited us to return in September to lead a follow-up training in Women’s Cycle of Life for their women leaders working in Egypt and several other countries of North Africa.
This training is designed to equip them to train others and to improve the lives of women through basic health principles and biblical marriage lessons. Our team will also include our Women in the Window Inductive Bible study as one of the distinctives of every training. Together they will unpack a woman from the Bible, study her story in Scripture, and explore how they can apply timeless truths from her life to theirs and to the lives of women they lead, teach, mentor, and train.
Please pray that our Egypt team will equip and encourage the women who attend to build their lives on the principles of God’s Word so that they can withstand any challenge! Our itinerary and specific requests are below:

August 30 Team departs US; Ila and Amgad will meet in Paris and then travel together to Egypt
August 31 Arrival in Egypt
Sept. 1 Travel to conference location
Sept. 2-5 Training with AWEMA; depart afternoon of September 5
Sept. 6 Day of rest with Amgad’s family in Egypt
Sept. 7 Meeting with women leaders of YWAM to discuss future training needs
Sept. 9 Ila departs for US
Sept. 24 Amgad departs for US after visiting with family
We present the following requests, and ask you to please pray:

- All final preparations for the conference, training, and travel will come together.
- Safe travel and good health for our team and the women who will be coming from other countries.
- Provision and protection for our team and the women leaders and for our homes, families, and loved ones while we are away.
- That our words will be encouraging and uplifting and that we will present the Word of God with respect and accuracy.
- Our relationship with AWEMA and YWAM will continue to grow so that we achieve far more together in North Africa and the Middle East than we ever could alone.
