As current events unfold in every nation, Women in the Window International is grateful to be a part of God’s unfolding story in some of the most critical places on earth. Please pray with us as we embrace key opportunities to gather Christian women leaders from the nations together for such a time as this, knowing that your prayers matter!
Women from more than a dozen nations of the Arab world will attend trainings in a European location next week. Kim will meet with these women leaders individually to discover how we can plan for strategic involvement in their churches and ministries in 2015 and beyond.
One aspect of our strategy includes trauma counseling training. Many of these women have been the victims of persecution and oppression caused by the Muslim leadership of their nations and communities. For that very reason these women are traveling from North Africa and the Middle East to a “safe zone” like Europe to receive this training.
Kim will be traveling alone and needs your prayers for safety, comfort, and overall travel logistics. In addition to the training, she has been asked to serve in various leadership roles while in Europe as a member of the panel discussion about Discipleship in the MENA (Middle East/North Africa) region along with four others, all of whom are Arab men! She has also been asked to facilitate the Focus Group for women reaching women throughout North Africa, and been invited to at least 10 additional meetings with various women, men, and groups serving in this strategic part of the world.
