Praise God that we arrived home safely last night! We had an outstanding trip in every possible way. The team unity among us was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our African and American like-minded ministry partners as we joined our hearts and hands to serve the women leaders of West Africa!
But most of all, we were delighted to be face to face with the West African women leaders, our sisters in Christ! As a result of our growing and collaborative partnerships, many of the women we trained in the Gambia and Togo are now equipped to go forward and train others in their region with Bible study and micro-enterprise skills. We are so excited about the way these ministry partnerships are emerging in West Africa and the opportunity to plan follow-up trainings with them in the near future.
We learned as much as we taught, and with great joy. Our knowledge of the love of God, the presence of the Spirit, and the power of worship deepened in ways that we could not have imagined. Joining in lively worship with our African sisters (and brothers!) was unparalleled, and is now a sweet memory that we have carried home.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your faithful prayer support while we were in West Africa! We praise God for everything He did, and all that He will now do, through the women leaders there going forward. We will keep you informed of our prayer needs. We consider you a vital part of Women in the Window International!
