Malta Prayer Update February 2020

Heading home with overflowing hearts—

Thank you for your prayers! Mindy and I are heading home early tomorrow morning…our hearts were moved and our minds enlightened by the opportunity to network with other Christian ministry leaders from twelve Middle Eastern and North African nations. They have faced conflict, persecution, terrorism and trauma, yet they truly abandon their own aspirations so that each trial becomes an opportunity to bless their communities. We are listing very succinct and specific prayer points here, with more to come next week. Please pray for our safety, smooth uneventful travel for us and our luggage, and good health.

Prayer points for each of these twelve nations, with more to come next week:

  • Libya—peace
  • Mauritania—widows and abandoned women & children
  • Morocco—rain: physical & spiritual
  • Tunisia—unity amongst believers
  • Algeria—open your Church again, Lord! (thirteen churches were forcibly closed last October)
  • Diaspora—ministries serving immigrants and refugees
  • Lebanon—economic catastrophe
  • Jordan—illegal to share Christ
  • Palestine—boldness of believers
  • Iraq—workers needed
  • Egypt—networking of women’s ministry
  • Sudan—growth of the Church

“He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.” Psalm 40:3

Trusting in Him,
Mindy & Kim
