Greetings from Nepal and the eve of our women’s leadership training! We are so impressed by the way God is at work among the people here, we have so much to learn from them! In recent years, God has poured out His Spirit so that many have experienced miracles and healings much like in the New Testament. More than one million have claimed Christ as their personal Savior! Now, our ministry partner is eager to see them grow as disciples and leaders. Women are considered to be a curse by the culture, even sold by their families into slavery. But in Christ they can see themselves as they truly are: valued, honored and a vital part of their family, the church and the nation!
Please pray with us for great freedom in the Spirit of God to remove any spirit of fear or insecurity so that the teaching will take root in their hearts and minds and bear much fruit. We will examine women’s roles in the Bible and develop team building principles and practices as well.
In a land with the world’s highest mountain peaks, please pray with us that we all will look to the One who creates heaven and earth to cause these beautiful Nepalese women to rise on eagle’s wings replacing shame with honor, sorrow with joy and giving all the glory to Him!
