September Update

“For You are my lamp, Lord; And the Lord illuminates my darkness. For by You I can run at a troop of warriors; By my God I can leap over a wall.”
Psalm 18:28-29

This week marks the 20th anniversary of one of the darkest days in human history: 9/11. The global assault on Christians and the Christian worldview continues, YET God and His Word are still hope-giving and life-producing. I recently had the privilege of speaking on Mornings with Eric & Brigitte at WRMB, Moody Radio South Florida. Listen here!

Among the many things we discussed, was how women were and are trailblazers as we illuminate the darkness with the light of God’s Word and its Life-giving Truth. Learn more about how you can join our Essentials Trail-blazer movement, a growing global community of women, on our website and personally let me know of your interest.

So far this year WiW has trained 1,439 women leaders. These women have exponential impact in both the spiritual and practical realm. On 9/11 we remember the ongoing strife in the Middle East and North Africa. WiW’s servant leadership training fills the minds and hearts of women with God’s leadership principles and practices that produce joy and peace. What a difference this has made for women in Egypt, Sudan, and Iraq.

African women who often struggle to provide basic necessities like food for their children, now have income-producing businesses based on biblical principles. But they also find dignity in their communities as respected entrepreneurs.

Women in Asia are given the tools and emotional space to grieve the incomparable losses experienced through the global pandemic. They now offer this same hope to their husbands, children, and neighbors with God’s Word, turning darkness into light!

Finally, we want to invite you to join our Annual Night of Prayer. You can join us on Facebook live or join us in personBoth women and men are invited, and quite frankly needed to help us fulfill our calling to equip and empower women in the 10/40 window and beyond, replacing poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ. Together we will win the spiritual war against darkness as we blaze a trail for His love and truth!
