Singing Praises in North Africa

tunisia-womanCome, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Psalm 95:1 (NIV)

We just completed our second training, where women leaders gathered from the underground house church movement here.  We were so richly blessed and encouraged as we sang praises to the Lord Jesus in Arabic, thanking Him for the joy of His salvation — even in the face of great difficulty and distress — and for new tools to reach other women for Christ in this North African context!

Unlike our first training, all of the women were new believers and all from Muslim backgrounds. Some are married to Muslims and all live, work, and study among them. They are strategically placed in their cities to demonstrate the love of God. And they are passionate to do so, too!  One young woman who is fluent in three languages, plus learning English, said, “I want to know many languages so that I can tell the world about Jesus!”

Thank you for your prayers!  Please continue as we began our third training today, which combines health and spiritual leadership. Pray for our health, unity, and joy to continue to stay strong as they have been.  We are so happy to be together, our Women in the Window team and the North African women, and excited about what God has in store this week!

With much love, joy, and gratitude,
Kim
