Dear <<First Name>>,
Have you ever noticed how often these two words appear together? In everyday conversation, in literature and in the Bible, so and that go together like salt and pepper. The cause and effect of certain circumstances is clear in so many cases, and in others it is more difficult to discern.
In much the same way, we see the cause and effect of good and bad choices we each make in both everyday, routine decisions, as well as major life decisions. Our decisions have the potential to impact our own lives as well as the generations that follow. Nowhere is this more true than the way that we treat what Jesus called “the least of these.” In many nations across the globe women are considered the least and treated as the last to receive the most basic benefits of life.
In contrast, two prominent Christian men, Loren Cunningham and David Joel Hamilton of YWAM, Youth With A Mission, have this to say about including women in Christ’s service;
“As we release women, we’ll mobilize the hundreds of thousands of people needed to complete the Great Commission. We’ll see God’s blessing on unity and servant leadership. We’ll see more anointing of the Spirit. We’ll see a strong Body of Christ, no longer weakened because we fail to discern it.”
March is Women’s History Month here in the United States. And many nations across the globe will celebrate International Women’s Day, Friday, March 8th. Women in the Window International celebrates and applauds the generous offering of women’s lives in Christ’s service all day, and all month, and all year—year after year. We agree with these fine gentlemen! And we are eager to find more ways to do just what they have decreed:
“release women in servant leadership! ” Thank you for joining us in this amazing and fulfilling endeavor. Here are some wonderful praise reports AND upcoming prayer requests for the month of March:
- Thank you for your prayers for the Trauma Healing training for North African women leaders. They experienced deep healing AND are now prepared to lead healing groups for other women with similar stories of pain and loss. Pray with us for an opportunity to provide the next level of training so that they can be certified to train trainers this year!
- Seven Lakota women leaders are now prepared to lead other women on the reservation. They received an excellent training to equip them in developing their own vision, mission and action plans. They will soon embark on their first women’s outreach event together!
- Our Atlanta based health team heads to India soon! Pray for safe and uneventful travels, health throughout the trip and two trainings as they empower and equip dozens of local women leaders. Pray for Koki, our WiW Regional Associate in Asia, as she identifies key leaders who will multiply the vision and mission to women who are uniquely positioned to serve women in every sector of society!
Please plan to join us for our 5th Annual Spring Luncheon as we Celebrate the Wonder of Him! The afternoon includes international and experiential silent auction items, dance, drama, delicious food and powerful accounts of God at work among women in desperate situations. Tickets and information are available here: https://womeninthewindow-intl.org/event/celebrate-the-wonder-spring-luncheon/
Remember, we pray, serve, give and go so that women are released to serve Christ with joy-filled wonder!
Yours because I’m His,
P.S. Speaking of prayer, while you are on our website, please take just a moment to post a prayer request. We stop to pray throughout each day, and would love to include you and your requests.
