We are thrilled that the LORD graciously opened the door for Women in the Window to facilitate multiple trainings in October and November, and our first team departs on October 23rd for South Asia! Since their departure is just days away, we have combined information about their trip with our October/November prayer guide below. Stay tuned for updates from the South Asia, as well as more information about the other trainings happening within a matter of weeks!
South Asia Trainings
Team members Judy Davis, Sherri Johnston, and Sarah Pascual will travel to two nations in South Asia to equip women leaders with micro-enterprise and biblical training. Our ministry partner in India, Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFI), has invited us to a new area of the country to provide a micro-enterprise training along with a WiW inductive Bible study on Lydia for 50 women. The team will then travel to Nepal, where, in collaboration with National Churches Fellowship of Nepal (NCF Nepal), they will provide micro-enterprise training and a WiW Bible study on Priscilla for 45 women. Please pray that the women leaders of South Asia will build their lives on the principles of God’s Word so they can withstand any challenge!

Prayer Requests for South Asia Team & Trainings
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Philippians 4:6-7
- Final preparations for the travel, trainings, and translating will come together, and God will strengthen and unify the South Asia team as they teach and serve the women.
- Pray for Judy, Sherri, and Sarah’s families during their absence.
- Many of the women are making great sacrifices to attend these trainings; pray for ease of travel and God’s protection over them and their families.
- The women will be eager to receive the training, grow closer to the LORD, and develop meaningful connections with each other and with Judy, Sherri, and Sarah.
- God will open doors for the women to transform their communities and nations with the love of Christ, and other women leaders will be identified and equipped to carry on the micro-enterprise and biblical trainings.
- Women in the Window’s partnership with EFI and NCF Nepal will deepen and expand, with more opportunities to collaborate in the years to come!
October/November Prayer Guide
Mondays: Ministry Partners
“And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:3
Pray for our ministry partners’ spiritual development, strength, growth and unity. Please pray for the Lord’s power and anointing in the face of the spirit of the world. Pray for an increase in openness to the Gospel in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
Tuesdays: Staff
“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.” 3 John 1:2
Pray for Kim as she leads our team, mentors the younger generation, and travels to visit volunteers and supporters of the ministry. Pray for Diane for wisdom and discernment as she will assume more office responsibility in Jessica’s absence. Pray for Jessica to have a healthy delivery and a restful maternity leave. Pray that peace may be within their walls and prosperity within their homes.
Wednesdays: Trips and Trainings
“‘Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!’ And God granted what he asked.” 1 Chronicles 4:10
Please pray for Sherri, Judy, and Sarah as they travel to South Asia on October 23rd, for Ila and Jackie as they travel to Spain on October 27th, and for Kim and Sandra as they leave on November 3rd to host the MENA (Middle East and North African) women’s conference in the Mediterranean. Pray for visas to be granted for the remaining 17 participants (46 MENA women have registered!). Pray that God will meet the financial needs of each training, team member, and participant. Pray for hope and healing as together we address physical, emotional, relational, and most certainly spiritual needs with concrete and eternal answers that glorify God!
Thursdays: Volunteers and Supporters
“I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.” Psalm 13:6
Pray that our Evening in the Courtyard volunteers will be abundantly wise and discerning with preparations, as well as filled with love for those whom they serve. Pray for co-leaders for our Servant Leader team. Pray that our volunteers and supporters will be richly blessed for their servant’s hearts and hands.
Fridays: Events and Fundraising
“And I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:4
Pray for our Evening in the Courtyard event on November 19th. We are excited about our partnership with WRMB this year and our panel discussion of those who serve on the frontlines of WiW. Also, pray that local vendors will partner with us to provide complimentary food and drink, and for a multitude of students and church volunteers to serve alongside us so that this annual event will generate new interest in WiW.
