Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
Psalms 96:1-3 ESV
We have so much to tell you as we share the marvelous works of our God in response to your prayers! Here are just a few highlights from this experience:
-Praise God for the privilege of learning firsthand of the political, social, and spiritual needs of each nation in the Middle East and North Africa directly from the Christians of these nations. We are deeply comforted by their fierce dedication and strong commitment to share Christ with both words and actions in the midst of the greatest global crisis since World War II.
-We were enthusiastically received by women of every nation represented at our Conflict Resolution training and Women’s working group sessions. As a result, we established common goals with action items that are measurable with women leaders in the region. Our working group looks forward to sharing accomplishments towards these goals over the next several months.
-We celebrate the beauty of commonly held yet extraordinary God-given traits of women across the globe: resiliency, insight, intuition, diligence, and a collaborative spirit.
These women are full of Hope in spite of desperate circumstances. We will return home inspired by this same Hope to continue the good work of Women in the Window International.
Pray that we will finish strong and won’t miss a single opportunity as we complete our time here and head home midweek.
Finally, please pray for safe and uneventful travel as we return home to our families and loved ones.
