Update From Overseas

Two Women in the Window (WiW) teams have safely arrived in their destinations in Europe and the Middle East. See below for photos, updates, and prayer requests for each training. Your prayers are deeply appreciated and powerful!

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16

Middle East Health Training

Our WiW team (Sarah Pascual, Nancy Wagler, and Kim Kerr) have arrived safely in the Middle East! Praise God as they had their first meeting with the new potential Ministry Partner. We trained their leadership earlier this year and they told us today, “We are so grateful for your WiW training curriculum! It is so effective here in the Middle East. We were surprised that it came from overseas. Thank you!”
Starting tomorrow the WiW team will lead a health training with a group of Christian Syrian women that live as refugees in this Middle Eastern country.  Over 1.5 million Syrians now inhabit this nation, flooding their original population of 4 million. Many from both nations are now following Jesus Christ as Lord as a result of this crisis.
Please pray that:
  • Our WiW training will be a huge blessing and truly meet the needs of each woman.
  • They will understand from the start that we are here to equip and train them so that they are fully prepared to teach and train others!
  • The word of God and the Gospel is powerfully intertwined in each lesson. Also that the truth of God’s love is so captivating that they simply can’t wait to pass it on!

Europe Heart Training

The WiW team (Mindy Blount, Vanessa Artman, Jamie Bartlett, and Diane Serrano) are safely in Europe. They are in the middle of their heart training for 26 women that serve in the 10/40 Window.

The women have enjoyed the lessons so far as they are drawn further into the presence of Christ and are taking a look at the gifts which which they may serve. Today they are covering tough issues like pain, loss, and grief.

Please pray for:
  • The hearts of each woman to be softened and open, as together they discuss tough issues.
  • Vanessa’s health as we think she may have food poisoning and is very weak.
  • For the training to continue to be well received by these outstanding women leaders.
