We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:14, 10:30.
We believe in the deity and humanity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His present rule as Head of the Church, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. Romans 3:22-23; Ephesians 2:12-13; Titus 3:5.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. John 16:8-11; 2 Corinthians 3:6; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14, 5:18.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the barrenness of damnation. Matthew 25:4-6; John 11:25-26; Revelation 20:4-6; 1 Corinthians 15:53-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class differences. Ephesians 2:14-16; Colossians 3:11; Revelation 5:9-10.
WIW focuses on raising the high value of females across cultures and generations, protecting them, and helping them understand their intrinsic value, giftedness, and unique destiny (Ephesians 2:10) as part of God’s global, eternal plan of redemption for all people in all places and in all times. (Matthew 28:18-20).
We believe in the inherent value of each individual human being from conception onward and that God has created male and female in His image. We believe God created those two distinct sexes, male and female, to bear His image ( Genesis 1:27-28; Matthew 19:4; Mark 10:6).
We believe marriage is God-ordained and reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church (Matthew 19:4-5; Ephesians 5:23-30) Marriage is an exclusive relationship, a faithful union between a man and a woman. All other forms of sexual intimacy are a departure from God’s design and therefore sinful.
We believe God is the author of life. We believe in a culture of life and oppose a culture of death including abortion and euthanasia. We believe life is a sacred gift to be cherished and the giving and taking of life is reserved for the Creator of Life (Job 33:4).
WIW is committed to working alongside our ministry partners in the 10.40 window to develop ways to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God (Micah 6:8) by caring for the ‘least of these” (Matthew 25:40), the most vulnerable, including the preborn and the infirmed (Psalm 82:3-4).
