We are humbled by the way God enables our ministry partners to triumph in extremely dire situations and challenges, such as anti-conversion laws, political crises resulting in economic calamities, and the desperate needs within their own families. They become our teachers as they model the principles and practices of triumph through suffering, resulting in transformation and beauty through brokenness:
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.”
2 Corinthians 4: 7-10
Our focus for 2025 has been learning how to live out a triumphant Christian life, and I can’t think of any better way to learn these incredibly valuable lessons than in partnership with Christ-followers in the majority world. The authenticity and integrity of their lives and witness inspire us to deeper service.
