“I am thirsty.” — Jesus (John 19:28)
How thirsty are you?
Most of us know what it feels like to be thirsty. We forget to drink enough water. We feel dryness or fatigue during the day. But have you—or I—ever been so thirsty that our very life was slipping away?
For me, the honest answer is no.
Yet Jesus—the One who created water—spoke these words from the cross while dying in our place. He endured unimaginable agony and deprivation. He became the living sacrifice for all mankind—every tribe, tongue, and nation—especially for those who believe.
Jesus understood physical thirst.
And He satisfies spiritual thirst.
Through His sacrifice, He meets the deepest need of every soul that believes. And when we receive Him, something remarkable happens: we don’t just find life—we become a source of life to others.
Jesus said to the woman at the well:
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
— John 4:14
So what about you,?
How is your soul today?
Are you thirsty?
And is your thirst being satisfied through the beautiful sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ?
If not, make the decision today to receive, believe, and follow Him – and drink to the full of His Love.
If so, remember this:
Jesus died so that we might become wells of living water for others.
