Every time we meet with our ministry partners, our hearts rejoice! Yesterday was no different as we heard the story of four young Moroccan women who have placed their faith in Jesus. Although this is a treacherous state of affairs, due to the potential persecution they may face, their hearts are full of praise, and overflow with JOY. In many ways, they embody the words of Jesus found in John 15:10-11,
“If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”
Our ministry partners in North Africa are fruitful and faithful! They faithfully serve among the people who follow a religion of works that has Mohammed as its source, rather than the One True God who offers us refreshment at the River of Living Water that flows from within once we trust in Him.
As they make disciples among the North African women, they want them to understand their true identity, so they empower these women through our Essentials Bible study. Essentials teaches them how to study the Bible for themselves and how to enjoy the process through various interactive Bible study steps.
AND Essentials provides real-life examples of women who bravely stood for Truth, who lovingly gave their all, and as Hebrews 11:26 teaches us, they consider the reproach of Christ of greater value than the riches of this world, because they understand their rewards are waiting for them to enjoy throughout eternity!
