Welcome to WiW Wednesday!
WiW Wednesday is our space to celebrate the remarkable work our ministry partners are doing to transform communities—and even nations—with the love of Christ. Today, we invite you to discover more about the first nation WiW served: India.
A Life-Changing First Visit
I will never forget my first visit to India. I didn’t see it coming—the profound spiritual transformation, the beauty of deep relationships, and the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. The experience changed me, and I knew there was no going back.
A Glimpse of Ministry in Action
Watch this brief report from a WiW training with a ministry partner who is passionate about serving her own tribe and caste in India.
India: A Nation Open to Hope
India—the world’s most populous nation, with 1.4 billion people—has changed dramatically in recent years, yet hearts are more open than ever before.
This diverse nation is home to more than 120 major languages; Hindi and English are its official languages. Women in the Window has published our inductive narrative Bible study, Essentials, in both languages and partners with ministry leaders across multiple states.
Our mission to replace poverty and injustice with dignity and purpose in Christ is being advanced among the Dalit caste, whose members have sometimes been called “Untouchables.”

Your Partnership Makes Transformation Possible
WiW ministry partners have the joy of helping Dalit communities experience meaningful transformation. Because of YOUR partnership, they encounter the hands, feet, and—most of all—the heart of Jesus:
Christ Has No Body
Christ has no body but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
Compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good,
Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world.
Yours are the hands, yours are the feet,
Yours are the eyes, you are his body.
Christ has no body now but yours,
No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
compassion on this world.
Christ has no body now on earth but yours.
