Our WiW core values define what we do, and even more, who we are. If you want to know what matters most to WiW, check out our core values. This week, we’ll unpack just why WiW is Christ centered. We believe Christ really is the center of it all. The Bible teaches us that He was with God in the beginning and through Him all things were made (John 1:1-5). He is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact imprint of His nature—He upholds the universe by His powerful Word (Hebrews 1:1-3). And, yes, He is the only One worthy to open the book described in Revelation,
“And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the book and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by Your blood You ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation”
Revelation 5:9
This is just a sampling of what God has to say about Christ at the center of it all. And the women we serve bear the same testimony. A North African ministry partner recently sent this heartfelt testimony about a young woman she discipled from a Muslim background into Christ, whose life was cut short: “She beautifully lived in her Master’s service, generously extending help, grace and love to all, and she will be beautifully remembered. She will remain forever in our hearts.”
