Nepal Team is heading out!

What does it mean to be a “servant” leader?
“Whoever would be first among you must be your bondservant, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:27-28

Our Women in the Window team, Sarah Peters, Sherri Johnston Gorman and Shirley Thomas, is heading to Nepal this Friday, November 29th to lead two Servant Leadership trainings with women leaders in Kathmandu and Butwal. We are grateful for this open door to connect with our WiW ministry partner and the hundreds of women they serve each year. Here is an overview of the training content:

In order to lead well, we must serve well. And no one is a better example of a servant leader than Jesus! Women in the Window servant leadership curriculum teaches what the Bible has to say about developing and valuing people, building community and displaying authenticity. Each lesson includes real life examples and lots of hands on applications too.

Please pray for our team’s safety in travel over this long journey, and joyful service alongside our women leaders in Nepal. Stay tuned for periodic updates from this beautiful nation which is literally situated on top of the world!

Yours because I’m His,
Kim
