Greetings from Zimbabwe!

This week, our WiW team members are in Zimbabwe with our Ministry Partner, African Enterprise, equipping 30 women leaders from across the nation through training in Narrative Inductive Bible Study, centered on the account of Rahab, found in the book of Joshua.

Alongside these studies, participants are engaging key advocacy lessons from the Women in the Window International curriculum, with a special focus on learning to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” (Proverbs 31:8–9). We are expectant for how God will use these women to bring truth, courage, and compassionate leadership back to their communities. Hear what they are already saying from the first two days of Training:

“In this training, I learned that Our God is a God of Justice and He looks toward the vulnerable…”

-Junior Paradza, trainee

“This training has opened my eyes to the seriousness of injustice in the sight of God and seeing others in the image of God”

-Nomasonto Tuturu, trainee

“This workshop has come to me at the right time… it reminded me that I am still important to God and He values me…”

-Faith Tambara, trainee

From the field:

“Giving a Voice to the voiceless’, is the focus of our WiW Zimbabwe Human Rights training. God’s Word is clear, we are to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves – Proverbs 31:8-9.

We thank God for the enthusiasm in the room!

These women leaders are leaning in with intentionality; ready and eager to share. Their hearts are fertile soil for multiplication as each one develops a critical pathway of application addressing issues of violence and abuse of women and children, inheritance rights too.

Multiple women expressed their gratitude for our WiW Inductive Narrative Bible study method, essential to helping them grow deeper in God’s Word and learn how to pass this dynamic knowledge on to those in their sphere of life.

2 Timothy 2:2 in action! We thank God for YOU and your prayers 🙏🏽”
