Do you remember the classic musical White Christmas featuring the beloved song “Sisters,” with lyrics both charming and timeless? The sisters’ relationship and devotion to each other is evident and delightful, and their playful, faithful bond is foundational to the storyline of this classic film. Clearly, in this film, relationships matter!
Women in the Window International’s storyline is unfolding largely through strong relationships with our ministry partners, and introducing key ministry leaders to others in their nation, their region, and throughout the 10/40 window.
Yes, relationships matter to WiW. A lot. We develop our strategy with our ministry partners—not simply for them. Together, we come to the table to pray, listen, and follow what we believe God is saying.
Our field-driven, relationally led focus amplifies our partners’ voices and keeps us seated beside them as we listen, learn, and serve together.

Yes! We are a ministry with deep devotion to those whom we serve and those whom we serve with! It’s no secret that our volunteer base is a fundamental part of our mission force. We would never be able to serve our sisters in Africa, Asia and the Middle East without our sisters (and some faithful brothers, too!) right here in the USA.
Jesus said that the Greatest Commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength,” is closely followed by the second, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 10
Some FAQ follow-up questions and examples:
Earlier this month, WiW championed our first-ever Community Transformation Group training in partnership with Amevivina Care who led the WiW microbusiness portion of the training, and African Enterprise, who led the Community Transformation Group training. Together, we are planning at least 3 new CTG’s in West Africa, and possibly expanding into East Africa, on to Refugee Settlements in the Middle East. (Isaiah 49:6; Acts 1:8)
Ministry partners need to be open to expanding their view beyond their current sphere of influence, and selflessly serving others for the greater expansion of God’s kingdom. This can be challenging because the needs within their own sphere may seem insurmountable. But we serve a God who loves to show us that when we put Him, and His Kingdom first, He will provide all that we need. Matthew 6:33
We thought you’d never ask! 😉
Seriously, YES! We would love to include you in our next volunteer orientation and tell you more about the ways you can get involved both locally and globally. Our WiW prayer team includes a vibrant group of women, and a few good men, too. That is just ONE of several ways that you can serve with WiW and stay up to date on the wonderful ways God is at work in and through Women in the Window International.
