Have you ever walked into a room of people praying – heads bowed – voice hushed, perhaps one person is praying audibly, or a few are “murmuring” their prayers quietly?
Prayer is a unique and curious form of worship and expression of faith in an unseen God. And yet, prayer, is the most vital Course-correcting, and Life-giving force known to mankind. If you know anything about Women in the Window International, you know our propensity to pray! We believe in prayer because we trust the word of God and His promises, but we also believe because we have seen the results and fruit of our prayers time, and time again. This past Saturday more than 30 women and men gathered to pray.
Our Annual Day of Prayer was held at the Tamarind House of Prayer on Saturday, September 12th and here are some photos and comments from those who joined us:

“The breakout groups allowed us to take personal ownership of the mission of Women in the Window Intl.”
“The Ambiance was perfect in every room.”

So, just why do we pray? Here are just a few of the many promises of God found in His Word and that we rejoiced in as we gathered for our Annual Day of Prayer:
“And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.” 2 Peter 1:3-4
“For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.”
2 Corinthians 1:20
