We need your prayers for our faithful Women in the Window friends and God’s laborers in India! Judy Davis is having an amazing experience as she sees God at work through our ministry partner, Koki and her team. Read the following notes and continue in prayer for Judy and her global health practicum.
God continues to work through our trip and training in India! The three day Women in the Window health training led by Judy Davis, our health volunteer, is now complete. Even before the 44 women leaders left to return to their own villages, towns, and cities, they translated the WiW health training lessons into their own language. Many, if not most, want to share this training with women in their own villages. They were excited and energized.
Both Koki and Judy commented on the work of the Holy Spirit in their midst during the training—the transformation was so apparent that they even looked different when they left—as if they were walking on air. Amazing and yet, this is evidence of God at work in answer to your prayers! Here are some prayer requests from Judy:
Prayer requests:
- Judy has the opportunity to speak to 250 children at a local school on hand hygiene and basic nutrition. She writes, “They will telecast my session throughout the city (a city of approx. 100,000 people). Please pray that the Holy Spirit will give words, strength and that His Spirit will shine through such a vessel as me.”
- Please pray for water retention due to a high sodium content in the food; my stamina and continued good health.
- Each morning Judy is teaching the Women in the Window Inductive Bible study method to the students at the college during chapel. She asks that we pray for grace, wisdom, and sensitivity to His Spirit.
